Welcome to BADASS Pizza Cutter
Our journey began in 1988 when I first created a crude, unbranded version of the BADASS Pizza Cutter. At the time, I owned a chemical company and hand-crafted several dozen of these unique cutters to gift my best customers as part of our "Thanks For The Slice Of Your Business" campaign. For several years, they served as a token of appreciation, bringing smiles to our customers' faces. Eventually, the idea was packed away, tucked into a box in the garage, and left forgotten for over three decades.
Fast forward to a spring cleanout in 2022, and the original BADASS Pizza Cutter resurfaced. Seeing it again sparked inspiration, leading to a complete engineering overhaul and the birth of a bold new brand identity. With a fresh look and a renewed purpose, we were ready to introduce the world to the ultimate pizza cutter.
In April 2023, our journey took an exciting turn when we were invited by Robin Robins, CEO of Technology Marketing Toolkit, to meet the Sharks. She personally gifted each Shark their very own personalized BADASS Pizza Cutter, and they were so impressed that they shared the excitement with the rest of the Shark Tank panel. Today, notable figures such as Will Smith, Wolfgang Puck, and Kevin Hart proudly own and use our product.
Our story isn't just about slicing pizza; it's about celebrating life's moments, both big and small. In the fall of 2022, a pizza delivery driver named Nick Bostick from Lafayette, Indiana, risked his life to save six children from a burning home, jumping from a second-floor window with the last child in his arms. In recognition of his heroism, the City of Lafayette honored him with a BADASS Pizza Cutter during their public appreciation ceremony. That moment solidified our belief that our product is more than just a kitchen tool—it's a symbol of recognition for the amazing things people do.
